Okay. I also like Klentì KaÇi. It is so nice to see a young man rise so fast in the pool world. He's going to be a name to remember for sure! Plus, he's kind of cute, eye candy for the ladies.

This just might be the year of Scots. Jayson Shaw is in pure beast mode. I expect he may reach the finals, and if he does, I'll be rooting for him too. He's an asset to the pool world with his energy and enthusiasm.

And this Japanese player has brought levity and joy to the pool world with his interviews. I'm always tuning in when he's playing. He's a hoot! Not to mention, he's a strong, strong player and can get there! If he wins, can you imagine the interviews spreading across the world? The pool world needs him!

Of course, the Filipinos always rise to the top when it comes to pool, and make no mistake about it, Jeffrey DeLuna is on a mission to win! He's knocked out some heavy giants and will be one to watch.

Spain's secret weapon in the pool world is Francisco Sanchez Ruiz. I'm seeing this player's name in the headlines more and more lately. He travels the world and has no fear. Incredible player with a lot of firepower.

Don't rule out American veteran Corey Deuel. A previous U.S. Open champion, Corey players all games and can get there. Whether it's snooker, playing one-handed, or banks, Corey is probably the most creative pool player on the planet. USA, all the way, I say, and if Corey comes out on top, I'll be over the moon!

The younger of the Ko brothers. He beat Thorsten Hohmann, which is a strong feat in itself, knocking him to the B side of the charts. I had trouble finding a photo of him.

One thing for sure, if he wins the Open, it won't be hard to find a photo of him if he wins this event.

Speaking of Thorsten I remember when World Champion Thorsten Hohmann from Germany first came to the States. He was winning just about everything he entered, to include $350,000 first prize at an IPT event. It's nice to see the veteran players doing well this year at the Open. He will make Germany proud if he scores a big W.

J.L. Chang is no stranger to the finals at the Open. Here he is battling it out with Shane in 2015 when he ended up being runner up to Shane. He will be comfortable on the TV table for sure.

Young Gun Joshua Filler from Germany is raising eyebrows this year. He knocked out American sweetheart Shane from the event and got picked to be on the 2017 Mosconi Cup during this week. He will be Germany's pride and joy if he wins this title and join the ranks of the German brethren of pool champions. AND he's only 19 years old. Wow! They call him Joshua "The Killer" Filler.

And here is J.H. Dang playing Shane in a hill-hill match in Kuwait in 2016. He will be a force to be reckoned with and will be fighting to the end.

He looks so sweet in this photo, but I'll bet his opponents don't think so when they're up against him.

Sounds like a plan. It is start to get cold. I finally turned the heat on. :o

Speaking of turning to heat on, man, what a great Open this year. Lost of Young Guns turning the heat on. Klenti is the youngest at 18 and Corey is the oldest at 39. Wouldn't that be a great finals!?
