12mm Break Cue

Just curious - does anybody break with a 12mm break tip on their cue?

I currently have a 13mm but I don't like it at all anymore - I shoot 100% of the time with my 11.75mm cue and the 13mm just seems really clunky and thick in my hands now when I break and I can't get used to it.

So, does anybody break with a 12mm tip on their breaker? If so, how does it feel to you compared to a 13mm or thicker?

Mine is 12.4 , but it's Purpleheart....... still very stiff.

I would never want a standard breaker to be less than 13, unless its LD.

I just made

A break cue from hedge. Both butt and shaft. It is skinny only weights 16 Oz. 12m at tip. Best break cue I have ever used.

I would never worry about what other people like to play with.
When I find the one that works the best for me I keep it.

Listen to Randy.

My buddy had one of his Gilbert J/B's shaved down to 10.5mm and he used it for about 2 years that way. He also played with it like that. It's what he liked and he wasnt going to let anyone change his mind about it.

I had my J/B made to match my playing cue, weight and diameter, so it felt like I was holding the same cue. I know how you feel about yours.
