That's Jamie Jones, he's currently 20 years old and he's from Wales. He is a pro but hasn't quite made it yet to the upper echelons and is a fair bit away from reaching even the top 100.

You were right about hearing more of him at 14....he became the youngest player ever to make a 147 in competition at 14 but has since then had that record taken away from him by Judd Trump who is a far better snooker player (and a very occasional uk8ball pool player!).

There are literally dozens upon dozens of Uk kids under 15 who make very regular century breaks in competition every year, several of them make 147's in practice too. Any one of them could probably have learned pool quite quickly but there's little interest as in Uk it's still unfortunately seen as downmarket and a long long way "second class and far inferior in skill" to snooker.
