13mm or 14mm tip

Hello all...I don't post often but do like to read here & there on the forums when I get a chance. I bought a few 13mm tips & measured the very end of the ferrule with calipers & it read 13.15mm. Do I go with the 13mm tips? or do I move up to the 14mm and have the sides trimmed?

You should go with the 14mm. When installing a tip, it should always be bigger than the ferrule and then trimmed down to size. To properly install a tip, it is recommend to use a lathe.

I'll go with the 14mm next time. I measured the bottom of the tip & it read 13.08. Good day all.
