It just shows what an awesome player Efren Reye's really is. I am sure he doesn't play very much 14.1 but can beat seasoned players at there own game. He just understands pool so well that there isn't a game he can't play world class!! Efren is without a doubt the best all around player in the history of pool..........

Efren is my favorite player, bar none. One of my favorite shirts that I wear is the "What would Efren do?" with a black-and-white portrait on it.
In the only two 14.1 events that Efren ever played in -- the 1995 Maine Event and the 2000 US Open 14.1 -- Efren won, and placed third, respectively.
It speaks to Efren's overall mastery of cue sports in general. And, the readership might want to know that after the 14.1 tourney is over, Efren will be in televised 3-cushion challenge matches against Torbjorn Blomdahl and Raymond Ceulemanns:

I cannot think of any cue sports player in the world other than Efren who can hold his own in 14.1, 9 ball, 3 cushion, and balkline against those opponents all in the same week. It is incredible.
I don't think the Immonen match showed that, unless the awesomeness was in putting a hex on Mika. I've never seen Mika play that poorly in 14.1. Efren made quite a few mistakes that could have cost him the match.
How is the quality of the stream? Might buy tomorrow's matches. Thanks.
Hi only weakness is his 9, 10, and 8 ball break, if someone good breaks for him, no one can beat him.
