14.1 High run record on a 5X10 tsble

I just found this thread in AzBilliards after a long absence from the site and I thought I'd add some information:

Babe Cranfield grew up on the 5x10 early on in his pocket biliards career. He had high runs of 435, 423, and 320........all unofficial of course :)

Crane 309
Mosconi 309
Greenleaf 289
Cranfields runs are not verified but given his skill as fun player he certainly was capable of the 400 + runs.
 
If I remember, the old 10 footers at Bensinger’s played fairly easy. Likely why Ralph G. favored the side pocket break, as 10’ was standard in his heyday.
