14:1 on a snooker table with My Z Shaft

With all this straight pool talk I decided to have a hit at my local snooker club with my predator z shaft. The snooker table I played on was the extreemly tight pro table that I often refer too.

I racked the balls for 14:1 (which got a few strange looks in this snooker town) and somehow I ran the first 14 balls without missing! I had a perfect break ball but I left myself a tough 90 degee cutback on a break ball because I didn't want to use the rest. Sadly I missed but running 14 balls with a pool cue on this table first visit still felt pretty good :)

I had a game of snooker next which really made my night. I made a 35 break and hung a red over the pocket down the rail. Next shot I made 22 and hung another red. Next shot I made 57 and hung the final black! So 35,22,and 57, two misses away from clearing the table on the tightest table I've ever played on with my pool cue!

Sorry to bore you with this but for various reasons I've stayed away from pool and to a certain extent this forum for the last month. It was nice to play again and feel the buzz, if only an hour! Just thought I'd share it.

Pretty impressive Craig!

I've played 14.1 on a snooker table too. Well kind of anyway. We'd pot the last ball, re-rack and smash the break. We'd just add up the balls, one point each....race to 50. Can play it as a handicap game too by giving starts.

It's a good drinking game if you have 3 or 4 players of various abilities. :D
