14.1 Practice Sheet

I designed this sheet to track my progress and it keeps me focused on my game because I am constantly playing to beat my record run and average run. I also document my average every 5 practice sheets and staple the 5 sheets together. This is a great way to watch yourself improve.

Here are two pics. One as an example and the other for you to print and use.

I track my run intervals with vertical and horizontal lines and then highlighting them, vertical lines with one color and horizontal lines with another color. Each time I miss I place a dot under the last box of the run. Once i shoot in the 150th ball I continue to run until I miss. Then I simply do the math and fill out the information on the sheet.

This will help you stay focused on your game every time you play.

Enjoy!

That's great! Thanks for providing this. I'll use it, but I think my high run and misses will be inversed from yours! :(

this is awesome and thanks! Have you guys used the Billiards Buddy Straitght pool app ( availible for iphone/ipad so far)? It works beautifully. Keeping track of just about every stat you would want to log. Plus it keeps all your past games in a small database so you can go back and look at progress. I think theres a free one to try and if you do I'm sure you'll be paying the few dollars for it. it's really fatastic!

( I have ZERO stake in the app) its just that good )

Hey, you gotta start somewhere. I purchased the book "Play Your Best 14.1" and I also watch and study lots of 14.1 matches on youtube.

Here is another tip. Keep your pool balls clean and polished. I went over 10 days without running over 50 balls. I thought, because we have had some warmer temperatures here that it was a little damp and the balls were not spreading on my break shots. Then I decided to clean and polish them yesterday and ended up with 3 runs over 50. This morning I polished them quick and ran a 58 right out of the gate. Unbelievable how much more active the balls are on break shots.

That sounds awesome. I have the Galaxy Sll, so for now I will have to stick with the old fashion way.
