Hello,

This tournament is a qualifier for the 2011 14.1 World Tournament. There are numerous threads on the forums promoting this qualifier, as well as the other 5 qualifiers, across the country. Here are some links to those threads:

http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=233674

Here are the details:

- August 6th and 7th at Skip and Jan's in Tempe, AZ
- $105 entry fee
- Top 2 finishers win free entry into the World Championships
- Double elimination
- Race to 100 on both sides
- No max player limit since we are the only qualifier on the west coast
- Tournament Director: Ray Robles -- (480)399-0645 or straightpoolqualifier@gmail.com

And to answer your other question, yes, anyone can enter (pro or amateur) :)

Thank you for your interest.
