Here are some stats from the round-robin portion (group stage) of the 2022 American Straight Pool Championship played October 24-29 at Q-Master Billiards in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Free streaming was provided on the Facebook page "American 14.1 Straightpool Championship" and on YouTube.
This is a 56-player event, with a 3½-day round-robin portion (8 groups of 7 players each) reducing the field to 24 -- the top 3 players from each group. That will be followed by a single elimination stage to the end, with 8 players (based on round-robin results) having a bye in the first single-elimination round.
These stats are for all 14 matches streamed on the feature table in the round-robin portion of the event, and they represented 8.3% of the total of 168 matches played in this portion of the event.
