Thorsten Hohman is the new world champion at 14.1 . Did he win anything but the glory and bragging rights? He also had the tournament high run of 174 unfinished. Was there any prize for that? When do we get to see the complete order of finish and list of prizes? Does anybody care?

It was $13K for first and an extra $1K for the high run.
 
WAGNEW my thought also believe me back home this a great for Thorsten and his countrymen let alone to know you are WORLD CHAMPION. How many have been able to fulfill that dream, it gives me chills to think maybe I can do that in 2007 then the 5000000 balls I've hit would be worth it all!!!

Yes, I'm shocked that the final results any payouts aren't posted anywhere. I couldn't find anything on Seybert's. I'm surprised there's nothing on AZ. I guess the oriental championship is more important than what's going on in the U.S. :rolleyes:

I agree, a world's championship and not a report on the payout or report on AZ Billiards that I know of. No pictures posted either. The players deserve some kind of recognition for their efforts! It seems to me like a very strange event unlike a typical World's Championship Tournament. What gives?
