Sunday Jan 5th starting at 1pm 16 of New England’s best players will be competing for their spot in our next national championship to be held in conjunction with the 2014 Derby City Classic. 16 players from 4 different rooms have qualified; they will each play 3 matches to 100 points against players from opposing rooms. The top 8 players after these first 3 rounds will all be in the money and move on to an 8 player single elimination bracket.
Top 2 win spots in our American Rotation Championship Series II and will be guaranteed $1,000 upon arrival at Derby City (we think that’ll help?)
3rd & 4th will receive $200ea, 5th-8th will receive $100ea.
There is no additional entry for this regional playoff, players played their way into it by finishing in the top 4 of 8 players at their local club in a 7 week round robin event.
We’ll be streaming live from Snookers in Providence RI all day. Matches are scheduled for 1pm 3pm 5pm 7pm & 9pm. The first 3 rounds are matches to 100 points and the last 2 rounds to 125. Tune in or come on down. http://www.snookersri.com/ustream.php
