But not for someone who has averaged 25 tournaments a year for 10 yrs!!!

Ray,

Due to the present course of Hurricane Ike, what are the chances of this tournament getting moved or even cancelled based on the possible damage to the pool hall? This storm is the real deal and everyone in the houston area are in my thoughts and prayers as the storm bears down on the texas gulf coast.

Until after Ike passes, we wont know the answers to these questions.

They have had a fire once and a pipe burst due to construction and yet they opened up as soon as they could. I have a feeling they wont want to let stupid Ike stop this historic tournament!

Everyone stay safe and heed the advice from the officials. Local satellite photo.

I just got word that the Owners/Manager of Legends Craig & Mindy are high & dry!! Will post report on Legends as it becomes available.

Also my good friends Tim & Kimberly Byrum, whom many of you players know, in North Houston are also fine.

I just got word that Legends Roof is a mess. I am not exactly sure how much but the Awning (if i spelled it correctly) is still partially there too. I am waiting on a few more updates and maybe more pics of League City if I can get them. Hope Everyone is ok and got out safely

Legends Billiards, the Home of The Houston Open did sustain some damage to the roof and awning, but nothing major. The biggest issue that could affect the event is.....no power.

The store IS on a major grid, which makes it a priority to get power back on,but no idea right now.

Updates will be posted as they are available.

Good news!! I just spoke to the Super 8 behind Legends and they have power & water!!! They did sustain damage but will be up and running by next week.

Sounds good Ray! Thanks for the info! I'll be a lot of computer systems are down right now. I haven't able to confirm my reservation with the hotel, but I'll give them a week or so.

This just in!!

I just spoke with Legends and confirmed what we already heard about the roof. They have power, water & sewer!!!

The hotels are also planning on being online by next week.

THE SHOW WILL GO ON!!! Stay tuned for updates!
