I am a museum manager and the museum, Alleghany Historical Society, has found a classic Brunswick Medalist. I have years of woodworking experience and zero budget for restoration work so I am needing to recreate some of the missing pieces on my own (some obviously I will have to purchase so I need to do the wood by hand). It is missing the ball return and rails. The slate is in good shape. I am missing a couple pieces of the framework also. Does anyone have any pictures of a Medalist return so I can get an idea of what it is supposed to look like? I have an idea of how to make it work but I want to be as accurate as possible. I will get some pictures up but right now I have not to fit the size parameters of the website.
