1928 Brunswick Table feeler

Beautiful and Very Rare

Hello Mr K, That's quite a table you have and it's almost in mint state condition.
The border inlays running along skirt bottom seem perfect, leg collum inlays are incredible, drop pockets, drop pocket dress skirts and pocket collars are mint. The rail caps appear new.
Someone, for a very long time took great pride and care of youe Brunswick Arcade Billiard Table.
The evident varnish wear is caused soley by the natural acids of the wood eating it's way to the surface, probably brought on by humidity, moisture nad dampness.

Here's the Big Dog for this sort of thing: http://blattbilliards.com , good luck

We'll Deliver!

Trent,

Great idea! When do you want us to bring it out? Lol.
We seriously would break it down and bring it out to Columbus. Maybe you and my friend could work out a deal for a cue(s)/table trade.

As Dale said, it's a Brunswick Arcade. Here is more info. It's a 6 leg model, is it 9' or 10'? At over 2,200 lbs, this beast can double as shelter in the event of a hurricane! :)

Is it a 9 foot or a 10 foot. I might be interested but would need to figure how to get it to Va Beach, Va area! I have a few high end cues I could use for trade.

Gary

It is a 9 ft. It has six legs because it is inch and a half slate, so it is very heavy. Gary, I sent you a pm.

Wow. That thing is almost 100 years old and still in that good of shape? I'm gonna go with the restoration crowd. It just needs some minor work and it will be cherry, and subsequently worth much more money.

Aside from that, I recently had to move a 9 foot pool table into my gf's house. 1.5 inch slate(might have been inch slate, my memory sucks), though thankfully it was a 3-piece and I got it pretty much by myself, she watched the door ways to make sure I wasn't gonna break anything. It's a pain, alright.

Anyway, this thing looks amazing. Fix it up, keep it in a good space, and wait till it hits the century mark. I bet the price jumps after that date. Something about "100 years old" that has such a pretty ring to it. People with serious money love that shit.

Carried 1.5 inch slate alone? Dude, the roids will turn your eggs into peas. Stay away from that stuff!!

Bump for some offers. Willing and ready to negotiate folks. Let's hear some ideas.
