For sale is a near original Brunswick, Willie Hoppe Professional cue. I had Bob Danielson of BD cues change the joint to 3/8 by 10 and make a new ss3602 shaft for it. Someone tried to tighten the bronze ring at the joint and scratched it so badly the scratches could not be removed. I still have the original shaft that came with the cue and all pieces roll straight and with the new 60 inch shaft the cue is 59 inches and weighs 20.00 ounces. The new shaft tip is ultraskin soft and the tip size measures 12.80. and is 3.70 oz. The original shaft is 3.56 oz, 29 inches, original 5/16x14 joint and has a 12.97 tip.
This cue is a time capsule and is in amazing condition. The leather is supple and is slightly oversize to todays standards but much smaller than the ball bat size of many of the old Hoppes. The points are nicely colored, the engraving and are super and a removable rubber bumper was installed. The cue is a real vintage player. I am 78 years and cutting down on my cues.
