1952 tournament in Boston

Bonds bowling and billiards

I'm pretty sure this reference has appeared before, but I don't know where.

Lots of links to original newspaper articles.
And lots of butchering of players' names.

I got those articles from the nytimes microfiche last time I was in Boston. I now have a photo of the trophy from the tournament it sold on ebay last year for $900 I will post soon and I also came across another exhibition flyer for a mosconi appearance at bonds from 1954 i might post that too though it isn't really related.

The Mosconi flyer on the page I suspect may have been thrown away by the idiots at flat bread pizza when they turned sacco's into a pizza shop. I don't think they realized that those collages were made by Larry Johnson (Boston Shorty) in his retirement. It kills me when people treat our history like that.

By the way thank you for reading my website i know your time is valuable and appreciate it when people visit. Thats what keeps me looking for info.
I am working on a page about holidays in DC it closed in 95' and was where Duke Ellington made a living as a road player before he made it as a musician. and a page about Bennsingers over the years and my favorite a murder story connected to the five points gang in new york the same gang in the gangs of new york (movie / book). took place in a pool hall in NY in 1907
