Hello, I have a 1960's Willie Hoppe pro (purpleheart I'm pretty sure) for sale. It's in good condition for the age. Has a bump and bruise here and there but a very nice unmolested cue It appears to be all original on the butt. I think the shaft probable has a non original ferrule. The butt and shaft roll quite straight apart, but there is some wobble together. You have to roll the butt on the rail of a table because the leather wrap diameter is larger than the cue. The black collar below the joint is loose and will rotate but it doesn't make any noise while playing. I don't have any weights but it is stamped 18. If I get a chance to pick up a scale, I will update the listing then. The points are fairly even compared to others but not perfect, I'd say less than 1/4" from point to point. Here are the measurements:
Tip: 12.40 mm
Joint: .813"
Butt at butt cap: 1.420" (huge)
I'm asking (sold) shipped in the U.S. If outside the states we will/must discuss. Not really looking for trades at the moment, but if it's worthwhile maybe. I'm not hard up for money, so please don't send any $200 lowball offers. Here are the pics. (the wood is more purple than the pictures show)
