For sale is a 1968 Palmer Catalog One Model Three. Great looking cue. The original owner purchased it new and used it less than a year.

I took the cue to John Zaksas at Red Shoe Billiards Near Chicago on 5/17/2013 to have him replace the tips and lightly seal the shafts. He also pressed the wrap. He commented that the butt was straight and was in the best shape of any old Palmer he had seen and that it was near mint. If anyone knows Steve at Red Shoe with all the Szams and Ginas and Searings he can also vouch for the condition of the Palmer.

No need for refinishing as this cue is ready for any Palmer collection.
Both shafts have a small roll out but both ends stay glued to the table when rolled. Other than that looks almost brand new and is in great shape.
Butt weighs 15.5 oz
Shaft one is 4.5 oz and 12.85 mm (This shaft plays awesome!)
Shaft two is 3.8 oz and 12 mm (This is an old aged shaft. It may be skinny but it plays bigger than most modern 13mm shafts)
Asking 1300 or best offer and trades are welcome. I will include the original box case also for the right offer.
Price drop SOLD shipped and insured.

More Pics

More pics of the shafts. Both shafts have the same thing written on the sleeve. "10-OH" is what appears to be written on both.

Bump bump

Great old Palmer! These don't come around every day! These were made from hand selected old Titlist blanks! Who knows who could have made this blank! Could be Rambow, Davis, Spain, Szamboti...

Palmer 1st Catalog

Hi Ron! No logo on this one. None of the first catalog stuff from Palmer had the logo on the buttcap. Thanks for the question.

Any other Palmer guys wanna PM me an offer or PM me what you think its worth please do. This is the first one I have owned. This cue is in fantastic original condition and looking for a new home. Anyone that can tell me what the "10-OH" is on the shafts also? Thanks!

Per Tate, the Palmer Collector, the writing on the pilot was Palmer shop code. I have a cue that I believe to be a Palmer that has writing on the pilot too. Nice looking cue and GL with sale.
