I play with a gentlemen that has the same cue with really dark rose wood instead of purple heart. It has the same curly points with the rosewood break in the points. He said he bought it from some guy in the late 70's.

I play the BCA tournament in MARCH every year in Lincoln City. Maybe you guys can stop in and show me his cue. Thanks, Rod.
 
I would like that but, he doesnt get around that much anymore. He sticks to playing golf at Classic Billiards in portland. I'll take some pics next time i see him. Nice cue, but it has seen better days.
