Really nice mcdermott pool cue all original, This is a really nice pool cue will only go up in value!!
The cue dose have some clear coat coming off the bottom but not much, and DOSE NOT COME WITH A SHAFT come as seen in picture, a new shaft for this cue would only cost maybe 65 bucks if you buy it new so you cant argue with how good the price is seeing its a 900 dollar cue.
As you can see from the photos this is a very choice piece of birdseye maple. The butt features 6 Y-ended real ebony inlays between pairs of thick patterned Central American Cocobolo rings at top and bottom. The forearm is also choice birdseye with 6 points of cocobolo. These are the original hand cut and inlaid splice points that McDermott and other makers used to do before they went to CNC machinery. These older McDermotts are displays of true craftsmanship by cuemakers who were extremely talented.
