Well it seems so wild to me that this tournament with a big sponsor, paying very well, never made it to print that I can find. I even asked Coors if they had info, but they didn't. And Mike P from BD didn't have anything.
I made the mistake of not writing stuff down, and with a ton of tournies, and getting up there in years (70, yikes), I can not remember who I played in the finals. I got 2nd and still made $4000 in 1990 !! I would have thought some press would exist. What my issue is now, I finally am making a scrapbook and letting go of the hundreds of magazines, that I won't want my daughter to have to deal with. The Coors event was the biggest chunk of change I got. I have no idea who I lost to in the finals, just that the people running it told me that the finals would happen when my opponent decided to play. So weird. Could not risk much sleep.
On another question. I want to make a post honoring Mary Kenniston-Guarino, I just don't know where on here to post it,
