I just picked up a 1993 Schon and I should know this, but I'm not 100%. The 1993's with different pins, had Runde already left when these came out or not?

I'm no expert but, I believe Bob was gone at this time. That pin, kind of a Schon's version of a quick release, lasted only 1-2 years at most.
 
The pin is still 5/16x14, just a slightly different pitch, with the tip still on. My R series shaft won't fit on it, but my Runde shafts will. I think he left in 92 and the change was in 93, but he may have left in 93. Just curious.
 
For those that care, I called Bob and he said that he had already sold Schon by 93.
