1997 Richard Harris - Bluegrass for sale

Here is an old Bluegrass with 1 shaft.

0622 9709 are the numbers inside the buttcap.

Shaft has no dings or dents. Butt has a normal amount of bumps for a cue this old, nothing major. It is in great condition. Moori medium tip. I dont have a scale, so I am estimating around 19.8 ounces.

What you see in the pictures is what you get.

I will be accepting offers for a week or two, best offer gets it. No trades please, I am selling because I am in desperate need of cash so bid high! :)

I was going to put on eBay, but figured I would give first crack to any AZ'ers first.

Check my feedback rating on eBay here:

Thanks!

I would highly doubt that is the original shaft. Every Harris cue I have ever seen has identical ringwork for the butt and the shaft. It might be from another Harris' cue though??

It is not the original shaft, but it is a Richard Harris shaft. It fits together perfectly with no overlap and hits very solid.

I keep getting emails asking how much I am asking for the cue...

Please make an offer .... Highest offer is going to take it.

The butt of the cue looks like any other cue that has been used, but taken care of during its use. It does not have major dings/dents/bruises, just a normal amount of minor wear and tear.

Thanks

I just love silent auctions !!

I'll start the bidding $69.00 any other bids??

This could be the longest thread in AZ History!! :D

Alright ,alright already i geuss i can go $102.43 but not a cent higher with a mismatched shaft...............

Let's just say he doesn't like to make extra shafts. I might be able to twist his arm a little. ;) Same goes for joint protectors, that's why they are around $135 for a set!!

I talked to Richard. Extra shafts will be 175.00 each and will take 4 months to complete. Advanced payment is required.

He also says, "A problem I will have making extra shafts for this cue is the brown joint. That is a linen base phenolic that darkens with age. The brown will be a lighter color on the new shafts."

Thanks,
Richard Harris

Yes, the old brown linen joint material is not available anymore so you get that ugly tan or biege material now............
