That case will be around for a long time and when you're done with it I'll bet your grandson grabs it.
The case maker obvioulsy took his time and tooled leather with care, the craftsmanship is exceptional, amazing detail, very beautiful.
Thanks for showing it.

That is nice, too bad you find an american made case like that. how much did it cost?

I really like the looks of your case as well. Thanks for posting the great pictures.

Kevin

Thanks Kevin, I can't wait to get it in my hands in March.

Mr. Gale and Jay,

Thank you for the opportunity to work with you. The case does have some natural markings, no real scuffs or scratches though.

Jay these are some of the pix I promised to send you. I have one more Dragon case that you can look at. Coming as soon as I finish this post.

I have three toolers who work for me. This one is the most talented at reproducing figures.

He does amazing work and is getting better and better.

As you can see from the pictures this case was tooled on the shell to finish it and get the Dragon to wrap around the case correctly. This method requires a deft touch to tool the leather properly but not to break the tubing and ruin the case.

This is the first GTF tooled case to exist. Congratulations Mr. Gale. I didn't want to let it go - but it wasn't mine to keep :-)

All the best,

John

Hi John,
I'm proud to be the owner of the first carved GTF case, there will never be another first. Your work and design is amazing and I'm glad you and Roy got together on this endeavor. I can't wait to get it in my hands in March. I'm ordering 2 more Wednesday, a matching set in the Prestige style, a 1x2 and a 2x4. I hope to have these in my hands for VF in March also, so I can bring them back to Brazil with me when I leave. Thanks again John.

PS: John could you send me the photos of the other Dragon cases your working on, I'd like to see them if possible??
