Is this called "Queens Cup" or "Kings Cup"? Are there two tournaments?

Are the teams made up of the World versus Philippines?

Wow Team West wins first match (4x4 match) 5-2
Early jitters in 1st match by both sides
Table does not break easy with tight pockets (I like that)
West is gelling well and proving they are slight favorites with their better Fargorate and WPA ranking and Youth

Next up 2nd match
Doubles - Van Boening/Immonen vs Ko/Ko

LOL
This is Kings Cup for guys only :p
It is West (Europe/USA) v East (Asia)

TEAM SCORE (EAST-WEST) 1-1
(First to 10 points wins Kings Cup)

5) Singles - Bustamante vs Van Boening
6) 3-3 - Reyes/Ko/Ko vs Ouschan/Immonen/Van Boening

The Kos take down Mika/Shane 5-2 in 2nd match doubles.
Smooth team play by the Kos.
Shane made number of great shots but was let down by Mika's bad positioning and errors
Now Team East tied 1-1 with Team West

Next up another doubles , crowd favorite, Efren/Django vs Appleton/Ouschan
:D

After some scrappy racks, Appleton/Ouschan squeeze into lead 3-2 over Efren/Django
Packed crowd.
They are using wooden rack like in World Cup of Pool. Love it cos no easy breaks and allows for interesting post break battles

BTW they are playing slop 10 ball so no need to call and they can fluke balls

By the way, Albin's nickname is "Jasmin's Brother". 😀

LOL, We can call him "Little Ouschan" or "Broody". He is real broody and have never seen him smile

TEAM SCORE (EAST-WEST) 1-2
(First to 10 points wins Kings Cup)

Day 1 (19 Nov2015) Match Line-Ups:

4) Singles - Ko Pin Yi vs Appleton
5) Singles - Bustamante vs Van Boening
6) 3-3 - Reyes/Ko/Ko vs Ouschan/Immonen/Van Boening

Appleton/Ouschan win it 5-2 after uncharacteristic miss by Efren. This is an upset over the 2 time World Cup of Pool champs and now Team West leads 2-1

Next up Singles match - Ko Pin Yi vs Appleton
:D

Ko wins lag
Makes incredible jump bank to pot 1, Darren fouls on 2 and Ko runs out to lead 1-0

Wow , safety battle and Darren gives up BIH again 3rd rack in row and Ko runs out for 3-0 lead.

Darren breaks, ball down but misses easy 2. Ko runs out to get on hill 4-0

Darren , Darren your game is off , man.

Ko breaks dry with open table. Darren misses 2 ball and Ko wins 5-0 with early 10 ball combo
Great play by Ko. Darren has to play his A-game against someone like Ko
So far the better performers on both teams are the young ones - Shane and Albin on Team West and the Kos on Team East
Still early days :D

TEAM SCORE (EAST-WEST) 2-2
(First to 10 points wins Kings Cup)

1st rack Buste plays nice long kick after Shane plays safe to run out
2nd rack Shane breaks, balls down , pushes out . Buste gives back, Shane makes incredible long jump shot then bad position has to play another jump shot but this time misses and sells out. Buste runs out for 2-0 lead
