These are the first pictures of my Dishaw. I can't wait....approx 2 - 3 more weeks.

No inlays in pictures, but they were to be put in yestarday.

I was wondering on the wood. I was thinking bocote or wenge but there's a lot of black in it. Is that black palm?

That there is bocote and a damn fine piece at that.

Your gonna be real happy with that cue. Dan makes a great cue that hits with the best of them. I own one, and I'm glad I do.

I dunno...sure looks like Black Palm to me. If it is Bacote, it sure is unique. Whichever it is, it looks like it will turn out to be a nice looking cue.

Thanks for the replies. I'm already very pleased. Dan is a great person to deal with.

It is Black Palm with 6 Ebony points, Ivory butt cap, and the white in the rings is also Ivory.

When finished it will also have:
- 6 Ivory diamonds in the butt
- 1 Ivory diamond in each point
- Ivory points on the end of the short points.
- Ivory Joint
- Ivory Ferrules
- Black Tex. Leather Wrap
- and Custom Joint Protectors to match.


I think it will be very nice.
