why would a pool room that opens it's tables on league night use 2-3/8 inch red circle cue balls instead of 2-1/4 inch, 6 oz, red circles??
Playing balls all 2-1/4

Are the tables 7' coin-ops using oversized cueballs? If so, maybe the owner or the staff aren't aware that the standard 2 1/4" cueball will work with the coin-op turned off.

I've played in bars where the staff is clueless about pool, or not responsive, then follow PT109's advice and bring your own cueball, chalk, bridge or even a good rack to enhance your enjoyment.

You're welcome. League players are slightly more discriminating on equipment. If the owner doesn't know where to get supplies, I would suggest Seyberts because they sponsor AZB and make this forum possible.

Thanks
