2 Old Palmers FS

Trying to help out a friend who is out of work.

My buddy is a 1 pocket player who has owned these 2 Palmers for many years. He is in a jam and must sell. The cues are offered at $700 each or $1300 for the pair. He needs cash so any trade offers will be met with low wholesale values if considered at all. No disrespect intended here, but cash is the only motivator to sell. No near offers will be considered either. Thanks for looking.

Both cues are straight and superbly balanced. Each has 1 shaft. 1 of the shafts is a Predator with a similar but not exact matching ring. Both forearms have been refinished. Both cues play very well and are solid.

I'm told they are both first catalog but I must confess, I am far from a Palmer expert. They are obviously full splice but beyond that, you must do the research. It seems that every Palmer in this style has a starting value of over $1000 before deductions for finish or shafts. When working out the asking price with the owner, we tried to come in under that value. No one wants a disappointment here. The cues are really nice players.

These cues unfortunately are not 1st catalog cues. These cues were made probably in the 80's. Send a pm to Tate. He can more readily I.D. the cues.
They are nice looking cues. Good luck with the sale.

You gotta love these old Palmers.

I remember when I was a kid - 16 or 17 going into pool halls and seeing those cues with the cool joint collars.

Your price for these is exceptionally low. These are about as classic and old school as you can get.

Best of luck with your sale, someone will be a happy cowboy !

Kind words Tommy. Thanks
I do feel like the cues have old school character, wish they could tell their stories.
