A dear friend of Waldo's has had these shafts for many years he had Rocky make them for a old Palmer he had. He sold the Palmer to us a few years back and kept the extra shafts.

What would the value of these shafts be?

Here is the info on the shaft and no they don't go with the butt we were asking about.

See the last picture it is of the Palmer. Thanks for any info you can give us. They may be up for sale after I get the info to him.

Both shaft roll VERY sraight and are in excellent condition. I would almost say not used much if any

Shaft #1

4 1/8oz
12.95 mm
.790 at the joint

Shaft # 2

4 oz
12.95mm
.790 at the joint

Rocky made a shaft for my Palmer also, this was in the 80's, he was leagely blind at the time, I remember he measured the taper by hand it was really something to see.

It was the last shaft he made before selling his equipment to Wayne Gunn.

If the rings matched I would buy them from you, but my Palmer has the Black/White ring.

:)

Rocky used Micarta on mine, he is the one who first started using it cause he had used it back when he worked for the Railroad.

Mine has a yellow color to it, not sure what this one is cause it is more white.

Jay, I want to say these ferrules were made out of cue balls not sure. Rocky Tillis was known to cut up pool balls for inlays. We are not sure on the ferrule material looks alot like Ivor-X. I know it is not that as these shafts have been sitting in a case for a long time.... Thanks

If you come down make sure you see Debbie the bartender at the Flamingo, she has an ols Tillis that Dale gave her years ago and she wants to sell it.

BEM with windows in the butt, black collars with silver ring.
