(2) Titlist on eBay

I'm pretty sure thats the second time I've seen those listed. I hope its not a scam.

I hope it's not because I got a bid on one.
100% feedback, but private though...we'll see.

If you've never bought titlist one-piece cues be on guard. Not all one-piece titlists are good candidates for conversions. Some are too skinny in the forearm area and make for really whippy two piece cues. Generally speaking, the heavier Titlist one-piece cues (18 oz and above) are fatter above the points and can be turned down without any problems. That's why it's always a crap shoot when you buy these cues, sight unseen. Most cuemakers would agree that if the cue measures at least .850", 2-3" from the top of the points, you're good to go. Be advised that if the cue measures .850", 26" from the bottom of the cue, you'll have a shorter butt. But don't worry, there are a lot of nifty tricks that cuemakers do to add length to the cue. No, I'm not a cuemaker, I've just bought my share of crappy Titlist cues.

You know thats something you really dont think about when buying one. I have been thinking about buying a titlst for a conversion.

The seller is supposedly here in Colorado. If worse came to worse, and a AZ buyer wanted me to "broker" the deal, I would be willing to do so.

Regards,

Doug
