How did it go last night, who won? Worked OT and couldnt make it. Trevor you where 100% correct in your comment on saturday, got the news yesterday. We will start looking for a new home bar.

We had an excellent tournament last night. Each week gets better.

Congratulations to Tom Zippler for going undefeated to take home 1st place. Cody Phillips took home 2nd and Josh McCauley rounded out the top 3.

Lets keep growing this thing next Monday. After the first 3 weeks, we've had 3 different 1st place winners. Pretty impressive!
 
I've had a couple people call to ask if we are having the tournament this week because of the holiday week. The answer is Yes we are.

Hoping for a great turnout!! In 3 weeks, we've had a total of 20 different players and 3 different winners. Wouldn't it be awesome if they all showed up on the same week. More people equals more money in the pot.

$50 added for at least 16 players

In the last 4 weeks, I have had 24 different players play. If you would all show up on the same night there would be a heck of a tournament. Unfortunately, it seems as though players give it one shot and then don't show up again. It's not as though the same player is winning every week. It's been 4 weeks with 4 different winners. The tournament also ends at a decent hour. All 4 weeks, the tournament has been over by 11:15.

With just 16 players, there would be a $370 pot to pay out. With 24 players it would be $530 with at least $250 going to 1st place. Is there any other weekly tournament in Maryland offering this? There are no greens fees and money added with at least 16 players.

Where are the players?
 
I'd love to go, but getting to any tournament during the week is difficult. I work downtown, and by the time I commute back to the suburbs, I couldn't drive and make it in time to any tournament that started before 8 PM. Unless I take a "sick" day one of these days :cool:

What is the entry ? How many and what size tables do they have ? What is a contact number for people to call ? If they bring their own drinks, do they need to bring a cooler as well or do you offer to keep the drinks cool for them ? What is the complete address so people can punch it in the GPS ? These are just a few questions and I think it may help .
