Has anyone seen this match today, well i have again, this match was the first match i ever recorded when i just started playing pool and watching it on t.v. and man Fransico and Fong Pang Chao, were unbelieveable. Especially in the Sudden Death match they were doing shots that were amazing especially under the pressure they were in. Anyways just had to talk about it to someone heheh . Cole.

Fong's jump shot was considered the Shot of the Year for that year. rightfully so i would imagine.

wasnt this the same year that Earl had Bustamante beat in sudden death, and completely screwed up with about 4 balls left on the table? they were pretty much in the open, and he just sort of took them for granted, and got snookered.

While the jump shot was great, his opening shot was even better. In fact, I'd give almost 500:1 odds that it could be done again.

Busta was trying to 3-foul Chao, and had him HOOKED and frozen to a ball. There was no good 1, 2, 3 or even 4 rail escape. Chao does an amazing one-rail kick using reverse english and the cue ball actually curves coming back from the rail to actually *make* (not just contact) the ball which looked almost impossible. Rightfully, Allen Hopkins and the crowd go wild.

One of the more amazing things is that in this hill-hill match, already on a foul, against Busta (!) and for $50,000 (!), Chao doesn't even use his extension when he takes the shot. He looks at it for a few seconds, goes down and fires it in. Ridiculously perfect!

I was kind of dissappointed when I saw that shot because busta played an amazing saftey and i think it was a kick safe and there was like nothing on the table left. Was anyone else mad? I was biased bc i was rooting for busta to win anyway

i loved that english shot Fong made, what about the kick bank then missing the a long cut shot. I loved how perfect Fransico kick that ball in then played an amazing safety, but then thats where Fong makes his Jump shot. That was the best Finals i have seen for the Challenge of Champions. Cole.

I was rooting for him also, but how sad. But i loved it when he finally became the third person to become two time Champion beating John Horsefall i think in 2004. Cole.
