I came here after a 10 year layoff and I have to admit that this place has not only helped me get back into pool, but I am more into pool than I can ever remember even though time is far more strained now than then.

I have no doubt learned more about 14.1 through discussions, videos and diagrams than anything else I have seen considering that I have usually been the only one in the room playing the game and one of a few in the room that even know what the game is. I just ordered the Mr 400 DVD run of 245 and can't wait to see it.

I would like to give special thanks in no special order to:

David "Blackjack" Sapolis - For posting so much information about 14.1 through posts and videos

Steve Jennings - For having a hand in improving my game as much in person over a few days as this site has in two years.

Jay Helfert - For the stories of old reminding me why every pool hall is a story book.

Eric "Fatboy" Peterson - Just because you're the only one I have talked keno with for the last 15 years.

A whole lot of other AZBers - For providing information to me that I would wait a very long time to learn in a pool hall. Quite a few of you have made me learn, or made me think and that has accelerated my learning......I have actually been thinking about a shot to practice all week that I have not seen here. Thank you all...I would name more names, but I have been drinking a lot tonight and my brain feels like one of those memory foam mattresses.

Welcome Back to the game we all love.....The doors at the 14.1 forum are always open and always full of tons of knowledge....

i thank them all for helping my game advance, and for keeping my head in the game. even when i am not playing pool, going to the 14.1 forum helps keep me in stroke and focussed !

Steve
