For whatever reason the thread was moved to the wanted/for sale forum. The target audience is all of AZB not just people looking to buy, trade, & sell which are the only people that go to that forum for the most part.

I've requested that it be moved back over here to the main forum so that it reaches more people when we have an update.

I just updated the thread with the announcement of a yrs supply of Quick-Clean donated by David Hodges. Thank you David!

Also, there will be an announcement in the next couple of days on a pretty cool donation by Freddy the Beard.

Did I read this right? When the raffle tickets are pulled the person will receive an item from a numbered list and not thier choice?

2nd Option

2nd option would be to move it to the Derby City thread since everyone starts checking that as the time approaches. I do not envy Timberlys task with this whole auction. :) :) :)

This is my first time doing this. I had some people more familiar with this give me some advice and this is what I was told would be the easiest way to handle it. There are quite a few items and quite a few members here. I've got to be able to keep some semblence of order and organization. It's not like running a raffle at a pool tourney where there's one or two items and it's over at the end of the day and the winner takes it home.

I would be willing to let the people that buy tickets vote for which way they want it handled if they feel they would rather be able to do that.

The one problem that I see right off the bat is that everyone else will have to wait for me to get in touch with the winner and then find out what item they want as opposed to everyone getting an item right away.

I realize that some people may not get an item that they want. I was thinking that maybe those people could start a thread where they trade...someone will probably have something that someone else wants.

I'm trying to get donations for nice things that people would like or at least be able to trade, sell, or give away easily.

It's not the 1st time I've been criticized for something concerning the raffle and I'm sure it won't be the last. ;)

Whoa
I did not criticize you in any way. I simply asked a question.
The reason is that I wanted to make sure of how the donations are going to be given out. Straight down a list is fine but not for all products IMO.

I am going to donate a few things that I think would be better auctioned off by themselves. They are more fan specific. Another item would probably be fine for the other auction. In other words if someone was to win a cueball signed by Joe Blow but hated Joe Blow they would not get it.
It might also be better to auction items like these so that a bidder might
be more inclined to bid on the item instead of the cause.

I will PM you with the items. I can handle the auctioning of these and will
just donate the funds.

Auction

MOST GENEROUS OFFER. THANKS frankncali. THIS WILL TAKE SOME HEAT OFF TIMBERLY. SHE WILL HAVE HER HANDS FULL AS IT IS. YOU ARE A GENTELMAN AND A SCHOLAR.
