2007 Derby City-Who's going? Positive Suggestions for change?

A Reminder

When you book your room make sure you tell them Exective West. The Executive Inn uses the same reservation system so many times people get "accidently" switched when they get heavy bookings. Make sure you confirm your reservations and get NAMES when you call. They have been slacking off lately and need some helpful reminders. My $.02

Ring Ten Ball

Next year we will be having an "open" Ring Ten Ball game every night, after the first two days. It will start around midnite on the TV table and run all night.

The plan is to have four to six players at all times, with a waiting list. $100 a man and you must have minimum of $500 to get in. This is the game we used to have in the back room at many tournaments of the 60's, 70's and 80's. It definitely separates the men from the boys.

And if a player can beat this game, he (or she) will win thousands. It will dedicated to the memory of Denny Searcy, maybe the best Ring Ten Ball player ever. Denny made scores in excess of 20K in Dayton and Burlington.
This should be an interesting and fun addition to Derby City. You will definitely see some great pool played in this game.

Who has already decided they are going to DCC 07? .
I will be there. I have no idea if I'll play this year. But, I'll be heading up the Louis Roberts Action & Entertainment Award again next year. So, make sure you all watch the action and entertainment and cast your votes!!!

good idea

:) I like the ring 10 ball game format for the DCC this year. Glad to see it used for the masses instead of just the pros. :)
