Fast Eddie's Sports Bar and Grill in Goldsboro, N.C. have many thanks to players and guests who came to Goldsboro from around the globe for ten days of 24-hour excitement, plenty of action, lots of fun, and great cookouts. Thanks to the many many sponsors and people who come together to make this possible. Thanks to cue video for broadcasting this over the net, thats amazing. Thanks to azbilliards, inside pool, professor Q-ball for their help, and the many pool rooms who held the qualifiers.

Congrats to Tony Chohan for winning the one pocket tournament and Charlie Bryant for winning the 10-Ball tournament. The last matches ended early in the morning and they were awesome. Six matches took 17 hours, with little breaks. They truely concentrated on each shot and each of them played their heart out, never gave up, and wanted to win. Each of you are truely talented. This was one of the greatest finals we've had.

Congrats to the 3 winners of the Jamaica vacations during the break and run contests .

Thanks to Doug Ennis, our tournament director, very professional job. Get some rest, you earned it. He tirelessly ran all these tournaments every day for ten days, with very little sleep. Thank you Doug.

Thanks to the staff/managers of Fast Eddie's, great job, well done. To Mike and Jamie Frowein, our General Manager and his wife, for the endless hours, before and during the tournament, and without who, this would not have been possible.

Thanks to Lucile Hooker and the church who provided the cookouts thruout the tournament. They provided some of the best NC BBQ I have tasted.

We invite everyone , to join us next year, for the 2009 Carolina Open. Stop in anytime. I made some great friends, everyone was excellent.
