This weekend in Germany was held the
Qualification tournament for the 2008 WPA AMWAY WORLD WOMEN?S 9 BALL CHAMPIONSHIPS
Winners: Ranked 1 to 8 get a spot at the 2008 WPA Amway World Championships
I wanted to especially say gratulations to my teammate KHODJAEVA Kamila.
She is the 13Y old girl that started playing pool 2 years ago when i started the first national team in Brussels.
I saw a HUGE tallent from day one, and this was her first international apearance. i had been talking about here since day one , and giving reports on her results, as i think she is one of the future TOP female players together with her 11y old sister. (both are ranked #1 and #2 in the belgium national woman ranking, and Kamila has won 8 out of the 10 ranking event. )
she finished 13th, and didnt get a spot, but she did beat some of the respected and established top woman players and a greath experience for her first time. She will try to get a spot true another tournament, and i wish her the best of all. One thing is for sure, this girl can play the lights out and is a tough opponent for ANY player and
ofcourse i'm proud to be her teammate.
