10/30/09: $10,000.00 Shot Contest Pilot Program for future $100,000.00 contest approved
The pilot program will consist of 10 selected rooms. The goal would be to get enough players to enter over a period of 3 months so that we have a prize fund of $10,000.00 with first place being $5,000.00. This, of course, will depend on the actual number of entries. Any amount over $10,000.00 (if any) will first go to reimburse Jim Shovak and Paul Frankel for expenses incurred in running this program. Anything else will go to the USBA.
If Paul and Jim are not able to recoup their expenses, then they may ask the Board for a partial or full reimbursement of expenses. These amounts are vague on purpose because they do not yet know what expenses will be involved. The Board will NOT be obligated to reimburse ANY amount whatsoever. They may ask for reimbursement depending on how much it costs them or they may not ask at all.
The flyer and promotional information to be used is as follows:

Please note that anything that is in YELLOW is not permanent and will be changed as necessary.
