2010 Western BCA 8 Ball Regionals starts Monday!!!!!

Those guys are lucky I wasn't invited to the grandmaster thingy. :p

Gonna be there from umm.. Monday night to Saturday or Sunday.. should be lots of fun! :)

I'm in the Open-A F bracket, yeehaw! I only recognize 2 names in my bracket.. I'll just try to play scared against all of them and hope for the best.

LOL Yes, they are lucky.;) The Grand Master division does not have a bracket. It is a round robin format. 8 players are participating. You can find their schedule on the Western Washington BCA website.

Glenn Atwell
Todd Marsh
Dan Louie
Rich Geiler
Don Wirtaman
Eddie Mataya
Matt Hoerner
Bob Zack

What is your name? Maybe we know eachother. Im Andrea Saenz Maes.

Cya there :)

Hi Andrea. I don't think we've met before, but I'm always checking out the Western BCA website and OTB, so I'm probably looking forward to watching the GM invite tournament as much as I am playing in my own bracket. I've seen Matt either place or win a lot of tournaments and I want to see how he matches up against the big guns. Also would like to see some of Todd's games, too. Todd, you seem like a stand-up guy from what I've seen on here and obviously an excellent player, so I'll be pulling for you to do some damage. My name is John Scudder and the brackets say my first match starts at 6pm on Tuesday, which should give me plenty of time to get comfortable on the tables there. I'll try to find you guys when I get out there.

I don't get around too much to the big halls or the big tournaments, so most of the people that know me are more from small local tournaments or from league (mostly APA). My shooting can be a bit erratic at times, especially on diamonds, leaving me to think that playing a tough strategy game will tip things in my favor. I also tend to play better when afraid of my opponents' abilities. If Liz is still on your team, she probably knows who I am. She helped me a little at Sewickley's when I first started.

No, I dont think I know you. Good Luck in the tournament!!!! Lincoln City is always a Great tourney. We are very lucky to have such a fantastic association building and promoting pool in the Pacific NW.
Just an FYI. Todd who posted in this thread is Todd Speakman, who lived and competed in this area for years. He is now in the northern cali area and stills keeps up with pool in the Pacific NW. Todd Marsh is competing in the GM event. He is from the Seattle area.
Yes Lizzy is on the team going to Lincoln City. She has been on the NPL Chix since the beginning four years ago. We absolutely have a blast playing together!!!!!
Come up and introduce yourself. :)

By any chance do you have a schedule for when they are going to be streaming? I saw the test run last night and figured they were just going to leave it on the entire time, but I guess not. Any information would be nice.

Thank You and good luck.

I recognize some names in this tourny, and it will be fun to follow the brackets.

I have to imagine Mr. Atwell is the favorite in his bracket. I could be wrong.
