The Sporting Life's Jeff Anderson has went AWOL seemingly & hasn't posted a selection in this tournament.

Something tells me that Jeff bet Andy Murray @ the Tennis & he is offski on his holidays with der Bookies cash . If so best of luck to him , either that or he's got sacked !

Shaun Murphy was talking about cues during the Selby -Burns match.

Said his old cue had been damaged, and he had to play delicately with it coming into the World Championship.

In the hiatus before the new season he had John Parris make a few cues.
From these he settled on a plain cue - Ebony butt, Ash shaft, tip under 9 mm, about 17 oz.

Don't think he mentioned the tip selection.

The only reason I was watching was record rainfall yesterday, and the power went out for 8 hours.
Apparently the BBC was showing the Toronto Marine unit rescuing 1400 passengers from a train close to downtown. :D (The track goes through a flood plain of one of the three rivers running south through Toronto to Lake Ontario)
So I got lots of sleep and woke up when the power came back on. :D
