Hopefully somebody somewhere took advantage of Da Bookies generosity & waded in with with every note & coinage they had & pawned their possessions & backed Ronnie O'Sullivan @ 4/1 for the win !:cool::grin-square:

Something tells me it will be a long time before Ronnie O'sullivan starts a tournament @ odds of 4/1 ! Wow those odds were huge on hindsight , hope somebody was on !

Best market odds :

10/3 Ronnie .

How comes Ronnie started this gig @ 4/1 but Da pesky Bookies have chalked him up @ 2/1 for the Worlds ? ( Ronnie was 9/2 for the Worlds before Christmas . )

What goes on inside a pesky Bookies head when they chalk up the odds but maybe that's like trying to guess what's going on inside Ronnie's head & does he want to win the title etc ?

I can't figure out either of them but Ronnie's through to the next round .

When I posted this I just couldn't believe how generous Da Bookie was on their quotes & I mean 4/1 to take the Welsh Open title in a race to 4 then 5 then 6 then 9 frames for the win were absolutely huge odds so hopefully somebody somewhere piled in large !:wink::cool::grin-square::thumbup:

Welcome back to The Thaiger

Holy shit, I have seen it all. There has NEVER been a better player than O'Sullivan. That maximum was simply unbelievable.

Taking the final black left handed was the snooker equivalent of beating the goalie and nodding the ball over the line with your head. We've all did that as kids. He does it on live TV, to break a record that may never be beaten. The final red with the left hand is one of the best shots I've ever seen and the green with the rest was insanely good as well. Christ, he gets some gear on the ball.

It takes balls to do that. The man has the lot. I don't know what Steve Peters does for him but the difference between Ronnie of a few years ago and Ronnie now is light and day. He is absolutely complete as a player, with a long game as good as anyone, ever, to boot.

I do believe Ronnie O'Sullivan is the best player to pick up a Snooker cue !:):D:thumbup:

Pleased to meet you !

I hope you watched the sixth frame ( luckily i have eurosport)

Not kidding it was incredible stuff from ROS

Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Black to yellow

I had one bet in the whole tournament & it was Ronnie to beat Barry 6-3 so when Auntie Beeb's Red button feed stopped transmitting , what a nightmare.

However they made up for it when the Snooker finished early & they replayed the last session & topped it off with a rerun of Ronnie O'Sullivans majestic 147 but @ 10pm sharp the TV feed stopped for World Cycling Championships !

O'Sullivan maximum seals title:

Let's have a look at what the layers are laying for the World Championships:

http://bettingzone.oddschecker.com/snooker/world-championship/winner

Best odds on Ronnie O'Sullivan taking the title are as high as 7/4 & as low as 11/10.

Those odds of 9/2 on ronnie for the win disappeared before Christmas last year & even 2/1 for the win last week is gone 7 that tells you that Da Bookie is running for cover !:eek::cool::grin::grin-square:

Happy Mondays-Pills Thrills & Bellyaches

This Happy Mondays album must sum up how Da Bookies feel @ laying Ronnie O'sullivan @ 4/1 for the Welsh Open 2014 title & how some happy dude punter collected their winning on the Monday morning.

Stephen Hendry tweeted that Ronnie OSullivan's positional shot from the final red to black on the 147 was the greatest shot he'd ever seen & who are we to disagree !:wink::D:thumbup:
