Here are the final match and game records for the 2024 Reyes Cup.

Scoring the way it counts, by matches:
Day 1 -- Asia 3, Europe 2
Day 2 -- Asia 4, Europe 0
Day 3 -- Asia 2, Europe 1
Day 4 -- Asia 2, Europe 3
Total -- 11 - 6 (Asia winning percentage of 65%)

Scoring by games rather than matches:
Day 1 -- Asia 22, Europe 19
Day 2 -- Asia 20, Europe 11
Day 3 -- Asia 13, Europe 9
Day 4 -- Asia 19, Europe 19
Total -- 74 - 58 (Asia winning percentage of 56%)

Match Records of Individual Players. For the following records, I counted a full win or loss for each player in each match (i.e., not splitting the point into fifths for the teams match or halves for doubles matches). So these numbers essentially answer the question: "In how many winning and losing matches was each player involved?" [Note: These records show wins and losses, so a record like 1-2 means 1 win and 2 losses, not 1 win out of 2 matches.]

Team Asia
• Carlo Biado ..... 1-1 singles, 1-1 doubles, 2-1 teams, 4-3 total (winning percentage of 57%)
• Johann Chua ..... 0-1 singles, 0-2 doubles, 2-1 teams, 2-4 total (33%)
• Duong Quoc Hoang ..... 1-1 singles, 2-0 doubles, 2-1 teams, 5-2 total (71%)
• Ko Pin Yi ..... 1-0 singles, 2-1 doubles, 2-1 teams, 5-2 total (71%)
• Aloysius Yapp ..... 2-0 singles, 3-0 doubles, 2-1 teams, 7-1 total (88%)
Team Asia Total ..... 5-3 singles, 8-4 doubles, 10-5 teams, 23-12 total (66%)
Team Europe
• David Alcaide ..... 1-0 singles, 0-2 doubles, 1-2 teams, 2-4 total (33%)
• Eklent Kaçi ..... 0-1 singles, 0-2 doubles, 1-2 teams, 1-5 total (17%)
• Mickey Krause ..... 0-1 singles, 1-1 doubles, 1-2 teams, 2-4 total (33%)
• Francisco Sanchez-Ruiz ..... 0-2 singles, 1-2 doubles, 1-2 teams, 2-6 total (25% )
• Jayson Shaw ..... 2-1 singles, 2-1 doubles, 1-2 teams, 5-4 total (56%)
Team Europe Total ..... 3-5 singles, 4-8 doubles, 5-10 teams, 12-23 total (34%)

Another way of looking at the match records is to count a full point for each player in a singles win or loss, half a point for each player in a doubles win or loss, and one-fifth of a point for each player in a team win or loss. So the following numbers essentially answer the question: "What numerical contribution did each player make to the overall Mosconi Cup match scores?"
Team Asia
• Biado ..... 1.9 - 1.7 (winning percentage of 53%)
• Chua ..... 0.4 - 2.2 (15%)
• Duong ..... 2.4 - 1.2 (67%)
• Ko ..... 2.4 - 0.7 (77%)
• Yapp ..... 3.9 - 0.2 (95%)
Team Asia Total ..... 11 - 6 (65%)
Team Europe
• Alcaide ..... 1.2 - 1.4 (46%)
• Kaçi ..... 0.2 - 2.4 (8%)
• Krause ..... 0.7 - 1.9 (27%)
• Sanchez-Ruiz ..... 0.7 - 3.4 (17%)
• Shaw ..... 3.2 - 1.9 (63%)
Team Europe Total ..... 6 - 11 (35%)

Game Records of Individual Players. Counting half a point for each player in a doubles win or loss (so the totals will add to 132 games), here are the individual records for games won and lost (including the 23 games played in the 3 teams matches):

Team Asia
• Biado ..... 15 - 13 (winning percentage of 54%)
• Chua ..... 9 - 13 (41%)
• Duong ..... 16 - 11.5 (58%)
• Ko ..... 12.5 - 11 (53%)
• Yapp ..... 21.5 - 9.5 (69%)
Team Asia Total ..... 74 - 58 (56%)
Team Europe
• Alcaide ..... 8 - 12 (40%)
• Kaçi ..... 8.5 - 12 (41%)
• Krause ..... 8 - 11 (42%)
• Sanchez-Ruiz ..... 10 - 20.5 (33%)
• Shaw ..... 23.5 - 18.5 (56%)
Team Europe Total ..... 58 - 74 (44%)

Nice to see the numbers. Having seen the entire tournament, I would rank the players as such:

ASIA
Yapp, Ko, Duong, Biado, Chua.

EUROPE
Shaw, Alcaide, Krause, Kaçi, FSR. But really, the four other than Shaw were all close in mediocrity.

I assume justice was served and Yapp got MVP? Has anyone ever had a higher match score average?
Yes, Yapp was MVP.

Quite a few players have had undefeated appearances in the Mosconi Cup. Yapp was on the losing side for one team match this year in the Reyes Cup, so his record was not perfect. In one sense, then, all of the following undefeated appearances were 100% and "higher" than Yapp's 95% on the contribution measure.

Yapp's point contribution toward the 11 points needed for a team victory was 3.9 (counting 1 for singles, 0.5 for doubles, 0.2 for teams). The only one of the undefeated records shown below that produces a higher "contribution" than 3.9 is Villarreal's 5-0 in 1994, when she won 3 singles and 2 doubles matches. So that's a 4.0 contribution on this basis, but they played to 16 points that year rather than the current 11, so it's not really comparable.

Team USA
Archer -- 6-0 in 2012
Lee -- 5-0 in 1994
Villarreal -- 5-0 in 1994
Strickland -- 5-0 in 1997, 3-0 in 2001, 4-0 in 2005
Morris -- 5-0 in 2004, 4-0 in 2005
Jones -- 3-0 in 2001
Williams -- 3-0 in 2001
Deuel -- 3-0 in 2001
Team Europe
Souquet -- 6-0 in 2008, 4-0 in 2013
Filler -- 5-0 in 2017
Ouschan -- 5-0 in 2016, 4-0 in 2023
Feijen -- 5-0 in 2013, 4-0 in 2016
And a couple of other records also produce a "contribution" of more than Yapp's 3.9:
- Shaw in 2020 won 3 singles and 2 doubles matches and lost the team match. So that would be 4.0-0.2, just edging out Yapp's 3.9-0.2.
- Immonen in 2008 won 4 singles, went 1-1 in doubles, and won the teams match. So that would be 4.7-0.5. I think the 4.7 is the highest player "contribution" in any Mosconi Cup. Maybe the rules were different then to allow him to play 4 singles matches.
- Ortmann in 1995 went 4-1 in singles and 1-1 in doubles for a 4.5-1.5 contribution, but, as in 1994, they were playing to 16 points rather than 11.
