I mean technically Fargo is your relative win rate against other players of a known rating, so playing the ghost maybe give you an estimate but to really know you have to play competitively

You get it from tournaments that use the system, and can also do challenge matches that report to it using a phone app called Salatto.
It's a logarithmic scale. Every 100 point difference means a 66:33 ratio of winning a single game, which roughly works out to doubling the lesser player's score in a longer set.
The chart on the first page of this thread we have FargoRate recorded for members that provided it. But keep in mind, the chart only has their best score of the year, not an average ghost score.
The very last chart on the first page has a running total of a few members of what their entire ghost history is for the year. That's a better average to see where you might fit in using the ghost as the only tool.
It’s highly dependent on conditions. 7’ vs 9’, new cloth vs old cloth, big pockets vs tight pockets, clean balls vs dirty balls, magic rack vs wood rack etc. Any combo of these will greatly vary the ghost Fargo. I think on a 7’ table with new cloth, clean balls big pockets and magic rack the ghost is under 600. Big table, old cloth, tight pockets, dirty balls, wooden rack it’s probably like 750. Average 9’ conditions on normal pockets I’d estimate it at 675. This is subjective of course. I’m a hair under break even on fairly tough conditions at 680 (9’ diamond with 4.5” pockets, worn cloth, wooden rack, but clean balls)
