To all the players and spectators that come to The Pete Sinkler Annual 14-1 Tournament in Thorndale Pa.

We have to cancel this year due to Petes health.
Pete has been having breathing problems for almost a year now and isn`t up to doing the tournament this year.

Steve Lipsky, please spread this around to the boys in NY AND NJ that play in this event.
Tell Danny B. he will have to wait another year to win the Title again.

Blackjack, if you talk to last years winner Danny Harriman please tell him.


Pete say he`s sorry but his getting better has to come first now. He is having breathing therapy 3 days a week for 6 weeks.
And we will be back next year.

I will tell him...will see him on monday in our 14.1 league....
 
You should still hold the tournament in his honor, treat it as a fund raiser for him and his family. take a percentage of the tournament entry and donate it to them. i am sure the medical bills arent cheap!

Steve, good idea but I dont have that $2000.00 Pete added, my business has been real, real bad.
Im supposed to be on vacation this weekend and playing in the 14and1.com tourney in Atlantic City, but had to take that money to pay Mays rent and was still short.

Pete will try again next year.

so maybe post-pone it to a later date, and do the same with the money!

i love to hear of tournaments in straight pool, especially when its for a good cause!

Bummer Mick!.....it's not gonna be the same this year without the tourney! I think Missy and i started going there around tourney #5 or 6? Let me talk to her, maybe we can come up with some kind of 14.1 event in the fall. Even if it's not the full on Pro event.......we can think of something. Hell, I havn't been practicing for nothing!:D
