Also, Mike Zuglan is taking entries for the Turning Stone Classic 9-Ball Open XIV event scheduled for December 17-20, 2009 at the beautiful Turning Stone Casino in Verona, NY.

This $25,000 added event will surely fill fast and is limited to the first 128 paid entries. It requires a pre-entry and you MUST contact Mike Zuglan to enter!

Remember, the previous thirteen Turning Stone events were filled to capacity with many players being shut out, so enter early!

All ages are welcome in the Event Center at Turning Stone and spectator admission is FREE.

Excellent. It's that time of the year again for us locals. I'll be tossing & turning for 5 weeks.

BTW, "new" Snookers opened up about a month ago. It is by far the most intimate & gorgeous pool room I have seen in a very long time. My hats off to Mr. Steven Goulding & his staff for making this possible. It's now very easily accessible with lots of parking, excellent food & friendly staff.

This weekend, Sat. Nov. 21 & Sun. Nov. 22, the Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour is proud to be at the new Snookers Billiards Bar & Grill (Providence R.I.).

Snookers has moved to a new location and directions can be found at either www.joss9balltour.com or www.snookersri.com or you can call Snookers directly at 401-351-7665.

This $5,000 Added event is the 21st Ocean State 9-Ball Championship in which the winners name will forever be proudly on display at Snookers for all to see.

The original Snookers was one of the first pool rooms voted as the top room in the USA and owners Steve and Regina Goulding are not ones to take a step backward so you can be sure that the new Snookers will be even better than the best. I personally, and on behalf of everyone, would like to thank Steve and Regina for their continued hospitality and generosity.

Snookers has a full bar(s) and some of the best food around from Regina's kitchen. I strongly recommend the ziti and meatballs!!! You will not be disappointed.

For those of you that are coming to play this weekend, you must arrive by NOON on Saturday in proper dress code of simply no T-shirts, tanks or sweats!

If you are coming to watch, play should begin around 1 pm on Sat. and either 11 am or noon on Sun., depending on field size.
