Glad you enjoyed it, I did too. Even knowing the result beforehand, it is cool to see the shots along the road to victory.

Ask and you shall receive :)

On Sunday 12/23/12 the 2012 $20,000 winner take all Women's Tournament of Champions will be broadcast for the first time in HD on ESPN2 in the USA. OB Cues is the official cue of this event and we ask that you support pool and OB Cues by watching this tournament.

The players that will be featured are Ga Young Kim from South Korea, Allison Fisher from the UK, Karen Corr from Ireland and Jasmin Ouschan from Austria. At 2pm EST on ESPN2 the first Semi-Final will be shown, then at 3pm EST on ESPN2 the second Semi-Final will be shown and then at 4pm EST on ESPN2 the Final will be shown where a champion will be crowned and will win the $20,000 winner take all check.

Also, don't forget to check out the New OB Cues TV Commercial which will be shown at least once during each of these three pool broadcasts.

I watched earlier today and Darren played amazing. Not taking anything away from him but the pockets on that diamond looked like buckets. Did anyone else think the same?

Thought that as well. Possible that overhead camera gave such a impression. Darren's performance
was smothering for sure.

Regardless of the pocket sizes, much of that amazing C of C *position play* -- sending the CB thru often dense traffic to those precise (do-or-die) and narrow windows of opportunity on the next shot -- was quite remarkable.

You can "really, really" (as the superlative-challenged commentator Mitch Laurance would say) see how the radically increased number of top players worldwide has elevated the need for maximum overall skills at today's level of 9- and 10-ball professional play.
