Thought I would share a Fantastic experience with my friends here at AZ.

Two weeks ago a good(Great Customer) came to Maryland, where I'am located to visit and window shop. There are 5 great Cuemakers in the area, and he wanted to visit a couple of their shops. He has purchased from me 9 Tim Scruggs/Mike Cochran cues in the last 8 months, and wanted to first visit with Tim and Mike. He was thrilled to meet such great personable guys. Photos were taken, he played pool with Tim, and had a great time. He then left with ordering an Ivory Joint for one cue, and Lizard wraps for 3 other Scruggs cues, and purchased a $7500. Scruggs Beauty. I then took him to Black Boar, where we had lunch with Tony, and he was shown the whole shop. At the end of this visit my customer then ordered a $20,000 cue from Black Boar.

What a fantastic day, visiting with my friends, and having such a great appreciative customer. He says he's coming back in a few weeks to "window shop" again.

What an experience! JP:D

Wow, a $20,000 cue? Must be a masterpiece to say the least.
That is about the going rate for one of Tony's cues now. When I visited his shop earlier this year he said that he had made 8 cues in the last year.

IMO for that $20K you do get a true masterpiece and the amazing thing is that the ones I have been fortunate enough to play with are just as outstanding in their function as in their aesthetics.

Tony's construction methods and design put him at the pinnacle of the craft.
