2nd Annual Amar Kang Memorial (APR 3- APR 6 2025)

Some pretty good matches on opening night. Tony was lights out as usual in his new Meucci Gambler and no more personal Southwest. I saw some players that I have played against in the past.

Amar was such a good dude. I remember when he was one of the first to be decked out in golf attire to play pool. Was looking professional before it was professional. He invited me to go to a bar across the street when I met him.

2nd day should be fun and on to the 1 pocket for the weekend.

Shout out to the old school Mezz West State Tour. Good times.

Amar was one smooth dude.

He spent a bit of time on the east coast and was well liked here too.

Thanks for the reminder. I watched a bit last night after you posted. Be nice when the one pocket starts. I watched some 10 ball, but it is 😴😴😴 so boring compared to the one pocket. Yeah I said it.😀

Ernesto played great.

BTW for those who didn’t watch the stream yesterday. I caught the part where Collins talked about Oscar selling the GC 3s from Hard Times. Tables should be ready September, which is a hint about GC VII readiness. 2k disassembled I think was the price. Set up your mechanic or talk to Ernesto. If I lived near there and had space for a 9’ I’d be all over that. I don’t have quite enough space and I’m not in CA and I’m tempted.

Yep.

2k for the tables. They will disassemble and even help load it but you have to talk to Ernesto or your preferred table mechanic.

New GC should be ready in a few months. I may go play on them.

The kid has steadily improved over the past few years. Well mannered and well trained. He could be a top pro in the US.

I hope he goes to college regardless and has a career. There's only a couple US pros making a living off pool...and they do alot to earn it.
