I am wandering if this is the Slayer with pure Ivory on the shaft and also on the shield? Anybody know the value of this stick in good condition and also if you think it will go up in value? Just looking for more details really.
Thanks so much!!!

I think thats a new model

I think that the black one shown in the flyer is the later model. I also think the black one possibly does not have the ivory? I dont know if that the one that I have shown in the pictures above.
Thanks,
Jon

Not wanting to be the one to bust your bubble as I thought someone else would chime in before now but I believe I'm safe in stating that there has never been a cue that has come out of the Meucci factory with any ivory in it's make up. All plastic, stains and wood.

I think you are wrong when saying "there has never been a cue that has come out of the Meucci factory with any ivory in it's make up". Meucci did use a little Ivory in some of their earlier production cues. I think the Shield in that model was Ivory in the 1980s, (His cue is much later than that) as well as some small inlays like Tomahawk heads and such in other cues. They also used a lot of Ivory in some of their high end cues like the Taj Mahal, early original Olympians and Crown Jewels. Although the later models of those did not have Ivory.

Well I've learned something as I'm sure you have more experience and are more knowledgeable than myself with Meucci cues. Myself, not a Meucci lover, seldom pass up a chance to slam them. I keep telling myself to leave them alone as many like them but I am just too biased.
